Don't do the cybersecurity DSST if you can avoid it. I took it, and passed, but it takes a lot of focus and studying that could be better put towards other exams and allow you to accomplish them quicker.

This is not true. My husband just enrolled a couple of weeks ago as a non-degree seeking student. He's signed up for 2 exams.

You need to talk to someone else. When I get people who don't know who they're talking about, I usually just say thanks, hang up and call again to get someone else.

Just the latest update, unfortunately I was like 3 days late for signing up for the CSU global CBE for Cloud Computing when I created this thread. So I am forced to wait until January to do that. However I recently took and passed the DSST Management Information Systems exam with a score of 451. I used the Instant Cert flash cards and took the 2 prometric practice exams. Both were helpful but I would say the prometric exams were moreso, dumb that they limit you to just 2 practice exams but I wonder if the questions they pull for them are straight from the actual exam pool so they don't want someone to see all the questions. Instant Cert is useful but I feel like with a few small changes it would be exponentially better. Find a way to turn the flashcards into multiple choice/practice test questions would be the first thing. The other thing they need to do is provide concept summaries of the overarching information covered on the tests. Like if I get a flashcard that mentions the SDLC and prototyping I should be able to click on each of those concepts and it pops up to a page explaining what each of them are overall rather than just the fill in the blank nature. Anyways so I am now waiting on that credit to reach TESC. Hopefully I will finish my Cloud Computing in the first week of January and get that going to TESC asap. Anyone have any study or prep recommendations for that one?I think my comprehensive plan is up at TESC Feb 20th so hopefully it all makes it there in time but also I think you have a 30 day period of it ending to get your graduation all settled. Thanks for the help thus far guys.

When you sign up at CSU-Global, the Cloud Computing course has some study materials embedded - videos and reading material. They also have a book they recommend, although it has terrible reviews on Amazon. I think you could start with the practice exam and then see where you stand before looking for study materials. You may find that you do well and only need to look at specific things which you can find on the internet for free.

And yes, there is a 30-day grace period at TESC, so if you get everything over to them in early January, you should be good. Just apply for graduation right away.

Another Latest update post, took the exam for Cloud Computing and Big Data Last Thursday, received my grade today (the following Monday). 92/100! Crushed the required 70! Studying through the modules they provide and taking the practice tests was plenty. The practice tests were especially nice because they were the kind where on every question it would explain to you why the answer was what it was instead of just saying wrong or right. The questions were very similar to those on the practice test in both form and content. Putting in to have my transcript sent from CSU global to TESC errrr TESU (haha) tonight, and tomorrow I am filing for graduation with TESU!!! I am so close now! No more classes or classwork or homework or tests to take! Such a relief!
