I haven't been able to log into Moodle since yesterday afternoon. No error message; Firefox just hangs with a blank screen when trying to log in. Anyone else having issues? I just want to find out if it's them or me. Probably me.
Thanks!

Absolutely not just you, I've sent tech issue emails to two different emails (a support@tesc link and isc@tesc email link). Pretty ridiculous. I was able to access it last, the same exact time of day yesterday that you stated, and then suddenly went down closer to lunch time. I understand other schools are much more expensive, and being in IT, I also understand unexpected problems arise, but with what some of us are dishing out, I expect full around the clock access whenever I want. Assignments and completion are expected by certain dates, add to that the fact that most tesc students have jobs, can only complete/work on assignments certain times of the day and will probably be the ones penalized for assignments rather than tesc taking the fall, I expect redundancy for the amount of money they get just to enroll let alone "tech fees" and usual course price. The worst part is, it's the weekend when most people hope to use the time they have to get things done, nothing but stupidity.

Bah. DW just pointed me to the email sent from TESC yesterday:
Quote:Reminder: College Network Going Offline Tonight
This is a reminder that Thomas Edison State College is taking its online student systems, including the Moodle learning management system, Online Student Services and the myEdison student portal, offline for scheduled maintenance this weekend.
The College's network is scheduled to go offline today, Friday, July 10 beginning at 6 p.m. (ET) until 12 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, July 12. During this time, students will not have access to their online courses in Moodle, the myEdison student portal or Online Student Services.
Students will be notified via email once the systems are back online. If either of these scheduled outages extend beyond the timeframes described, students will be notified via email.
We appreciate your patience while we make these upgrades to our online student systems. If you have any questions, please contact the Learner Support Center at lsc@tesc.edu.
As you were. :patriot:

That's weird, i can't even access my email because of the outage issue, it just goes to a blank page. Probably would have been better to put the message on the MyEdison page as well. I guess the email was meant for people who happened to check their emails prior to shutdown in order to prepare.

In my experience, the emails about the upcoming shutdowns are also sent to the email you put on your applications, etc. Your personal email that they use for correspondence before you're enrolled and get your own .edu email.

I just used their website to take a TECEP. What I can't find is the options to check my transcript and see what classes I need for my degree - can anyone tell me where to find those now?

That information can normally be found in the academic evaluation section of the Online Student Services website but it seems to be having some problems at the moment. There used to be links in myEdison, though there still seems to be a few bugs left. If you are under the new 2016 catalog you can find a generic version of the program requirements on their website but it won't show you what classes you have completed.
