Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody had any experience with TESC teachers and Letters Of Recommendation. I'm going to be taking the 3 necessary classes that I couldn't test out of in the coming months (The Capstone, and 2 UL history classes), but I was getting worried about this. I'm planning on applying to a couple graduate schools this fall for next year, and several places require an academic LOR.
Now, I already have 2 good non-academic references, one from my boss, and one from my Red Cross supervisor where I volunteer, so I don't need a great reference, this is merely a "check the box" thing.
Do TESC instructors do this? I was thinking I would have to work pretty closely with my Capstone professor, so whoever he/she is seems to be a natural choice, but I could be wrong. Also, my first thought was to take Guided Study over Online, again for that one-on-one contact, but after reading some things in the forum, it seems actually counter-productive. And finally, are their specific teachers that haven't had a problem in the past writing LORs? Teachers I should seek out, or stay away from?
Thanks in advance for any insight you can give.
