Trying to decide if these classes would provide additional letter grades at TESC. And, if so, how hard (time consuming) on average are the LSU courses? I've already seen nice things about the Penn Foster ones.

My understanding from what I've read on this forum is that TESC only gives letter grades for classes taken directly through them and not from any other source.
I'm sure someone with much more knowledge than I have will be by to confirm (or refute) this shortly. There are many helpful people here. ![]()

Your transcript shows the letter grades from courses taken at other schools, but your GPA is figured from TESC courses only. TESC will not accept a transcript from Penn Foster directly. The Penn Foster courses that are ACE Credit approved must be sent through the ACE system to TESC. ACE courses are shown as pass/fail only at TESC, so no grade of any kind shows up on your TESC transcript if the ACE approved course was taken at Penn Foster.

Thanks guys. To confirm, what you're saying is, if I take a class at PF or LSU, then it still only shows up pass/fail on my TESC transcript. So, I'm better off sticking to tests than classes at different places, because I already have too many schools to gather transcripts from.

LSU credits and other graded credit from RA colleges would show up as grades, but would not count toward your TESC GPA. Only courses taken at TESC are counted toward your TESC GPA.

Thank you. I'm just planning ahead to how a potential grad school might view my transcripts :-)

You have to do a capstone course anyway. Or, are those only graded pass/fail?

I'm not required to do one. To my knowledge though those are graded.

Ah, you must have enrolled prior to the new requirements. Thanks for the confirmation though.
