So, I finally got my credit evaluation back on Tuesday, and it appeared that I have more than enough for the Associate's degree. I am excited, but it is tempered by the new maze of TESC's snail pace until I have the degree in hand. I haven't been formally enrolled, just accepted and have transferred my CLEP, SL, and varied credits to them.
Now, I sent the Graduation Form yesterday after talking to a Student Affairs staffer. She told me that I was enrolled through the Corporate Choice Program, as a former employer of mine was on their list, and I had been employed there when I first applied. I guess I don't understand how that works, as I haven't paid a dime in tuition, or chosen a course. Anyone had any experience with that?
I don't owe anything to them, so I am hoping there aren't any roadblocks. I sent the form yesterday, so it should get in under the April 1st deadline for the June graduation. At noon, the Bursar's office left a message that they wanted to talk about the form. I am worried that something came up. Is this normal?
Can anyone share their experiences through the graduation process, i.e., the degree audit, anything to look out for, etc? This is untrodden territory for me, but exciting.
Now it is on to finish the B.A. in History. While I have been waiting on the eval, I have been working on my Free Electives, and will have 84 credits by the end of April.
P.S. Oh, and I had just accepted the Pell Grant award a few weeks ago. Does that get distributed to me, or do they keep that?
