TESU BSBA Finance and possible dual degree?

I am wondering if I can study Finance and International Business as dual degrees, or must I get one degree with two areas of study?
I definitely plan to get the degree in Finance, and have some marketing credits, that might make it easy to get the undergraduate certificate in marketing. I also like International Business, and wondering if I can take that as a second degree, or must be two areas of study?

I did read through the info at TESU. Finance is a BSBA, but International Business is just a BS, although still through the business school. Is it a dual degree possibility? They share a capstone.

So I am really trying to understand the dual or double major options. My understanding was that they stopped allowing two separate bachelors degrees for TESU BA CS and TESU BA CIS since there was so much overlap. It doesn't seem like that would be prohibited from the information on TESU website.

Would it be possible to do a double major in Marketing and Finance, and then a second bachelors degree with a double major in CIS and International Business? I am young and with a lot of transfer credit already the overlaps these areas. I have plenty of time to pick up the few extra classes to fill out these degrees, but I am not sure TESU would allow.

I am starting my first (and last) term at TESU for a dual BS Comp Sci + BS CIS literally next week, my advisor granted exceptions for me to take both capstones - so not sure where you heard you can't do both anymore, but that doesn't seem to be correct.

For the other questions - from my understanding, you can get an additional area of study (major), as long as the degrees are the same (BSBA to BSBA, BA to BA, etc..) AND from the same TESU school. So I do believe you can get a combined BSBA Finance /w Marketing, and the BS CIS /w International Business should also work.

One interesting quirk of doing 2 business degrees with 4 Areas of Study is that all of these AFAIK use the same capstone (BUS4210), so you might only need to ever only do 1 Capstone.

Just to be clear, the Computer Science degree is a BA, while the CIS and Business Administration degrees are BS degrees.

This means you receive two separate diplomas, and those degrees are listed separately on your transcript, which is different from a double major.

Nice catch! Understood, just a typo on my end (typing too many degree names got me all tripped up   ).
