TESU cos-111 - introduction to programming equivalency?
#11
I already got 2 programming courses transfered that the advisor says does not fit:
CIS299 Programming and Integration II
CAP199 Multimedia Programming

The saylor course transfer as COS-101 which I already got, I would be surprised they allow this no?

I can see why those two wouldn't work, they don't sound object-oriented and neither are CS prefixes. As far as the Saylor CS-101, it can't hurt to ask, but they probably won't.

BTW, I think it's worth trying the onlinedegree.com course. After all until someone tries transferring it in we won't know the equivalency. Wink

Same here; will SL Intro to C++ still fit into the Programming area for BSBA CIS?

Yes. It did for me anyway. In fact, you should be able to use either the SL Intro to C++ course or the Study.com C or Java programming courses to fulfill the CIS programming language requirement now.

However, I don't know if any of those courses will meet the requirements of the BACS Intro Programming course. The OnlineDegree.com course seems the most likely to do so.
