Outside course/exam for TESU Comm 100 Communication Theory?
#11
I requested special permission to use the SDC course mentioned here for the Communication Theory requirement and was denied by the Dean. I would still recommend asking, bc you never know what they will say.
I couldn’t find a test-out source for Mass Comm II either, so I had to take it at TESU. I don’t think the BA Comm degree or the BALS Comm can be fully tested out.

If you don't have tuition assistance, then you will need to decide on what is more valuable to you - money vs time? I would recommend taking a moment to decide, and also ask yourself if you're wanting to take some extra courses that may not even be needed, just for the sake of getting residency credit.

Technically, you can take the Cornerstone, COM-100, PLA-100, PLA-200, and two e-pack courses for under $4000 (if you can handle 2/3 courses at a time) and then do the Capstone by itself for an extra $1137 or whatever the amount is, but you'll have graded credits and also the residency fee waived.

You could even take the capstone along with those others all for under $4000, and plan on doing an 8 week extension on the capstone for $231 so you're able to concentrate on it after getting the rest done.
