Unlisted courses credit
#1
A couple of recommended courses from Sophia like Ancient Greek Philosophers, Intro to Ethics, Visual Communications, etc. dont show up on the TESU's all GE courses page or TESU's complete UG course listings. Do we still get matching credit for GE even if they are not listed as one of the courses?

https://www.tesu.edu/academics/courses/j...-and-after
https://www2.tesu.edu/listall.php

Similarly few SDC courses don't match up or are not listed. CS-304 Network System Design is equivalent to CMP-254 according to SDC but the course list only has CMP-354. Also i was planning to do Java CS-115 which is equivalent to COS-208 but its not listed at all as a TESU course.

Most courses that TESU accepts aren't based on courses they offer. TESU offers relatively few courses. The wiki and SDC's site can generally be trusted as far as what courses are accepted as what at TESU.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

For GE courses as long as it's accepted for credit, it doesn't matter that much what they decide to call it. A lot of my RA credits came in as 199 or 299 'special topics' generally with the same dept prefix. I had 3 credits from one school called UGR200 which was used for undergraduate lab science research in either chemistry or biology, it came in as bio299 even though I had actually been doing chemistry. Close enough.
My humanities requirement was fulfilled by a random class on the development of modern American religions (mostly how cults form off of established religions, but we weren't allowed to call them cults) that I had taken out of general curiosity 15 years before transferring to TESC....and I doubt they've ever offered a class on the topic there.
