This is old and not updated with any of the newer courses! Not sure why they'd publish an old page, but it's missing tons of courses.

I wouldn't use this, except to get the course equivalencies - I'd assume they took everything except the foundations courses.

I think she's saying that, while the communication is recent, the content itself is old.

In that regard, I'm inclined to agree. It looks like what's happened is the previous equivalencies have simply been reposted with no new information.

For example, someone in this thread mentioned that English Comp II had been removed. That's not quite accurate as EC II is a new course for Sophia and was never on the equivalency list to begin with.

While it's a good step to repost the previous equivalencies (reposting what we already knew), unfortunately, it doesn't answer any of our questions regarding Sophia's newer courses - like EC II.

It may be a 4hour old email, but it's an outdated list, as TESU/Sophia never updated the newer courses.  So this is just old information.  Most of the newer courses that aren't on this list are still accepted at TESU.  For instance, they list Intro to Art History as a course - but it is not!  They updated that a long time ago, and now there are 2 courses at Sophia: Art History I and Art History II.  I know for a fact that both are accepted at TESU, and both work in the Knowledge of Human Cultures area.  100%, have seen evals with my own 2 eyes.  This leads me to believe that the same is true all of the newer courses.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the title of the thread. Just that people should read the whole thread if they're looking for the entire picture and also not to fret over anything. It's weird, something in between the two parties, and someone forgot or didn't think to get updated transfer list to be "complete". It's basically missing some courses and using the "older list", they need this updated so everything will be "complete" with the transfer agreement.
