I know normally, people go to the other site to discuss graduate school, but I seem to like the advice on this site better. I am looking into Master's Programs in Supply Chain. I found a few and the one I'm most interested in is through Michigan State University. MSU has one of the highest rated Supply Chain programs in the country and I would love to add this degree to my resume. The MSU degree is an actual degree from MSU and you have to be formally accepted by MSU.
The caveat is that the degree is administered by University Alliance. As some of you know, University Alliance is a for-profit venture with traditional universities including Notre Dame, MSU, Villanova etc. Most of these are certificates that are basically professional certificates with little academic value (although some are ACE acredited). As I was reading online, there are people accusing UA of the typical for profit tactics (constant calling, pressure sells, trying to enroll students quickly, trying to steer students into buying overpriced textbooks, etc.).
I want to call and get information, but am afraid of all the harrassment afterwards. Has anyone had any experience with University Alliance/Bisk Education?

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
