Tesc & Penn Foster Question???

Just checking if anyone has heard a definitive answer to whether Penn Foster Eng 121 meets this requirement.

I promise to let you know if TESC ever acknowledges receipt of my transcript from ACE (which was mailed on 1/26/10 and Excelsior received and posted by 2/5/10). My PF Mgrl Comm is on my ACE transcript so I'll post back when TESC evaluates it.

My TESC advisor, Alicia, told me that Penn Foster ENG 121 will NOT fulfill the Managerial Business Communications requirement but Penn Foster ICS-0041 Business Communications & Language will.

Let us know if TESC tells you something different.

I cut and pasted a forum post from Mae who is a TESC graduate (yea, Mae!) with a BSBA. She did receive credit for the PF class to meet the bus comm requirement. This was posted back in 8/08.

I called TESC before I took the PF class and got an ok. I wasn't enrolled yet so they wouldn't give me the time of day when I tried to submit an advising ticket to verify it. If they don't give me credit for it now that I've completed it, they are going to have to listen to me whine, complain, and generally freak out every day until they relent. Oh, and I am so not kidding.

I found a Business Writing course at Penn Foster(Eng 121). TESC has approved the class to fulfill the business communication requirement. The cost is $200, this includes course materials. There are 6 assignments that you email in, I have had them all graded in less than 3 business days. I would recommend taking this class.

Ok, so here is exactly how the PF class appeared on my transcript at TESC:

I just cut and pasted it from my eval with no alterations. So, the PF course does satisfy TESC's Business Communications requirement. And, this is as of 3/8/10.

Alicia from TESC has allowed Penn Foster ENG121 to fulfill the Managerial Business Communications requirement. The other course she wanted is no longer available from Penn. Big thanks to Jadechow for posting your transcript, as I think this influenced the decision.
