I need help on these to make up a quick decision on BSBA on Computer Information System at TESC. I made the inquiry below but they will not answer before I re-enroll. Anybody out there that can help or is currently enrolled and in the same field who does not mind finding out about these?
Please advise if the following courses at Penn Foster College meets the BSBA Computer Information System Area of Specialization requirements and how they transfer to TESC i.e. their equivalencies.
1. ACC 211 Computer Applications in Accounting (3 credits)
2. PCM107 PC Operating Systems (3 credits)
3. CIS 235 Structured Systems Analysis (3 credits)
4. CIS 240 Systems Design (3 credits)
5. CSC 275 Computer Forensics (3 credits)
6. CJS 255 Computer-Based Crime (3 credits)
7. INT 128 Network Protocols and Internetworking (3 credits)
Thank You

I just noticed that 5 of your courses (PCM107, CIS235, CIS 240, CSC275 and INT128) are not on the PF ACE approved list. I don't know how TESC will treat those. Hopefully you will get better information from your evaluation. CJS255 and ACC211 are on the ACE approved list.

Thanks everyone and to you koenigtv for your observation. It escaped my mind to first check the ACE approved list! Good thing I had just marked them out and had not started the classes yet. Am assuming the two will be Upper Levels credits which is what am aiming at now. Unfortunately they're not popular with folks here.

If you are looking for an upper level accounting course (instead of ACC211 from PF) TESC will accept Cost Accounting from Straighterline as ACC-303. It would be cheaper but not necessarily easier. PF also has cost accounting ACC303.
Good luck.

Thanks again. I already have Cost Accounting and was looking at it's computer aspect to pass as an Information System elective. Am also working on Fundamentals of Cybersecurity and looking at TESC's CMP 354 though I would avoid the TECEP if I can lol.
