So I've been busting my ass to try to get this degree done by Jan/Feb of next year but now it turns out that the LAST 2 classes I need are Terrorism-SOS-440 and Research Methods in Social Sciences-SOS-492 and NIETHER one of them are available next month and I'll have to wait until January to register so that brings the completion date to freaking March! 18 CLEPs, 3 Aleks, 5 DSSTs, and an ECE in a 2 month timeframe to only sit on my thumbs for a whole month.:toetap:

Penn Foster's Terrorism course was accepted by TESC to meet the Terrorism requirement for the CJ degree for my daughter and I believe that there is an ECE exam that meets the Research Methods requirement. You might be able to complete both of those in December.

See if this will work from Colorado State Pueblo
Colorado State University-Pueblo > SOC 492 ? Research I was able to complete these pretty much at my own pace, though i didn't take this particular course. Signing up is just a phone call.....of course over the holidays it might be difficult to get interation with the instructor(or not), At any rate, you could be all done with the work and submit it all by early January. Class costs about $450.
Here is the book for the above course for $4.34 shipped.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I took EC's Research Methods exam and it is quite doable and easy to study for, especially if you have taken some psychology classes. I do recommend the practice exam if they still offer it. I had EC cancel my class I needed twice, after it was posted for months, so I ended up graduating several months later than I expected, so I can I know how you feel!

If you were trying to take these courses through TESC both of those courses are available for the December semester; what happened was you waited too long to register. December late registration closed Nov 20, we are currently a few days into the January registration period so you can get registered for the January semester if you so choose. Or as advised take the courses through a different outlet.
The first place I look for this type of information is the
college catalog, see registration pp 144(at-a-glance) and 149 (academic calendar).

I wonder if TESC would let me register for the course even after the late registration date has past?

It never hurts to ask. At worst, you're out the time it took to call.

You would need to call for this one. Since December registration is closed online, if you can still get in, they would have to do it by phone.
