China, California, and other countries have plans to go fully electric for vehicles yet the reality is that there isn't enough resources on Earth to support this transition.

Whatever battery tech is used, a realistic plan for a critical mass of consumers to adopt electric might include the following:

• 300 miles of range with 80% charge in 15 minutes
  
• Cost per vehicle under $25,000
  
• As many charging stations as Subways (20,000+)
