Two questions please. :)
#1
First Q - I. Hate. Math. I know at some point, I have to take it. Which test(s) is the easiest and would still cover basic requirements?

Second Q - I now have 18 credits under my belt (trust me, I NEVER thought I'd make it this far and still be living...anywho...) but I've only taken one DSST test. I'm looking at taking World Religions...and the scoring is confusing me. What would be a passing score for Religions? I'm not terribly worried about it, I think this will probably be my favorite test (if there ever can be such a thing. Tongue ) I was just wondering what number to be on the lookout for.

Thanks in advance. Smile

Hello,

Many people use ALEKS -- Assessment and Learning, K-12, Higher Education, Automated Tutor, Math to either gain credit or study for math exams. There is a lot of info if you search 'aleks' in this forum.

Congrats on the 18 Credits!!!!!!
For World Religions you need a min of 400 to pass. Pay attention to specific feedback and you will do fine.

Good Luck.

You may want to look at the college mathematics CLEP. It was not super easy for me, as I also am "math challenged," however, even though I haven't taken a math course since the early 90's, I was able to brush up on my skills using ALEKS and then going through IC and youtube lectures to help me to prepare for the test. It took a couple of unpleasant weeks of studying, but it is worth 6 credits.

:iagree: I. HATE. Math, too! I squeaked by with the College Math CLEP. If you can pass that one, it's great 'cause it gives you the normal required 6 math credits in one test. My sister also took it and passed much better than I did (goes to show the advantage you have if you don't take 4+ years off before taking it...).

Don't worry about World Religions either. It was a breeze, particularly with IC (feedback and flashcards). It's especially easy when viewed in light of "the math problem." :ack:

Good luck!
