TESU BS to Brick & Mortar MBA
#1
I'm in my last semester at TESU, and I'll be receiving my BS in Business Administration with a focus on general management. I have plans on pursuing my MBA at a brick & mortar next year since my employer will pay for it. Anyone have any successful experiences going from TESU to a brick & mortar for their masters?

Over the years I've been here there have been several! Most, I think, pursue an MBA online just because it is what they're used to and fits into the reasons why they pursued a degree at TESU in the first place. Still, I'd be interested to hear more about your school - which one will you attend?

Obtaining a TESU degree wouldn’t really be a barrier to attend any b&m graduate school as long as you meet the admission requirements for the program you’re applying to.

This thread is from 3 years ago and some of the posters are long gone. There are responses on your thread. Give it time and there will be more.

@Juju7, What are you wondering about? I wouldn't worry too much in regards to getting your child into the proper program at the local college or university. Most public/state systems have flexible admissions, I would make sure though that your child has all the prerequisites done and bring in a strong application. Other than that, graduating from COSC, Excelsior, TESU, UMPI, or WGU is like graduating from any RA institution, they're not particularly recognized but will get you in the door.

Edit to Add: You should find any local colleges/universities where you want the child to attend, find their requirements and try to hit most if not all of them. There will be slight differences between the schools, if you have all the requirements, work on "other" items they may be looking at, such as GPA, certs or specific volunteering, other experience, etc.
