In my professional HR life, I see a significant number of job applicants who have 2-3 years of college but no degree. Your decision should be based on your own desires and the cost of the AA, so long as it doesn't deter you too far from the BA path you're already on. Just my two cents worth.

Thanks. Exactly my point. It feels like it is completed and gives me more motivation to achieve the other. As a whole it may feel like an unachievable, daunting goal. Right now I have 70 credits completed. I am halfway and it can be both exciting and overwhelming.

Also, with an AA that stand alone, isn't it easier to work towards additional BA degrees without having to repeat the first 60 credits each time? Or am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure that you can use a BA in the same way.

Thanks, I didn't know that, so one has to work towards the degree requirements for a second BA and everything else already completed will be automatically transferred?

Automatically in as much as an AA is transferred. AFAIK, an AA doesn't always transfer as a whole credit block either except for within the same college/university network.
