Viva Las Vegas!
#1
I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend. To reason why, but just to get away from things here for a little bit. Anyone else interested in coming? LOL.

If you don't have duty this weekend, you should come Shadowless. My friends and I are driving up there in a little bit. Tons of non-Navy approved fun.

If I had the funds I'd be there. If you want some KILLER (cheap) hot dogs check out Nathan's in NY (south strip next to Excalibur) Usually they give discount cards, 2-4-1Smile

Vegas can end up like TJ. It seemed like the smart thing to do at the time, until you wake up with a god-awful tattoo, next to the goat that you professed to be your brother the night before. Your friend busts in the room, exclaiming that you need to GO NOW! Without explanation you engage in an all-out mad dash to cross the border in an attempt to outrun the local authorities, without fully understanding why. Not that I um know or anything:o

Yea, me & a friend decided to run a Vegas marathon dressed as Elvis. At some point we collectively looked at each other (amongst a field of 204 other running Elvi) and knew that these would be the photos discovered by our kids 20 years down the road that would be analogous to our discovery of our parents engaging in Saturday Night Fever. Hey it seemed clever at the time.

Good luck.

You're 2 months too soon. I'm going at the end of May. I can't wait.

Have fun.

Just came back. Stayed at the MGM Grand. Runner, I know what you mean. It happens alot on WestPac. Meet some pretty awesome people out there is time around (always a plus). I lost money (yet again) but I usually lie to myself and say "At least you have memories". StealingDreams, I'm all up for going to Vegas again in May, heck I would go next weekend if I could but I honestly hate the drive up there (especially California traffic). I could opt-out and try to fly, but I would rather use that money for the blackjack tables.
