Walden University-Early Childhood Studies

Long story short, I switched from UMPI to Walden University for tuition cost. I just received the 50% tuition discount (for the life of the program) and it will cost $750 per 3 months!!! If I would have sticked with UMPI I would have to pay $6000 ($1400 8 wks) for 4 terms.  I'm hoping to finish by next summer. I also attached the ECE core courses.  My credits transferred for all the GE requirements so I would just be concentrating on the ECE coursework.

Super excited that I will only be paying $3000 if I can finish in 4 terms or maybe $2250 in 3!

Edit: Also, with UMPI alot of my credits didn't transfer in for GE. I would have take extra courses (which I was working on) to complete the GE requirements where as Walden took all my GE requirements were met.

That's just awesome! Walden is probably the only for-profit that I truly like as they seem to be dotting their i's, crossing their t's and all that - in the necessary education market, they've been good on many things. Essentially, they've been great within investors and spectators eyes for the last little while before they were purchased for a whopping amount ($1.48 Billion US).
