What's a good price for actual, graded college courses?
#11
The thing to consider is that no other school, other than the Big 3, is going to let you transfer in 90+ ACE/NCCRS credits. So, you might be able to find some other school that charges $150-250 per credit hour, but a whole degree from that school will end up being more expensive.

I think the point some people are missing is that you're trying to complete a bachelors degree. You can't complete a bachelors degree at the CCs that were recommended. You also can't get a bachelors degree in biology at the schools with cheap, independent study courses. As you have mentioned before, an online bachelors in biology is extremely hard to find. It would have helped to mention that in the OP since not everyone is going to be aware of your previous posts.

I doubt you will need to take all 24 credits as courses; but, if you do, then $250 per credit hour is very reasonable for an out-of-state student. Many people pay about that much for in-state tuition. If you have a residency requirement to meet, you might as well kill multiple birds with one stone: earn credits toward the residency requirement, get that UL biology course at TESU because it's going to be much more expensive anywhere else, and get the lab courses that are hard to find.

TESU applied about 80 of my transferred credits. The most I would pay to finish out the degree, including credits, residency waiver, and other fees is $3500. So about $90 per credit for actual graded courses.

Most of us pay only $1800 for the residency waiver, because of the Study.com partnership. Study.com also gets the $300 cornerstone course waived. You may want to compare the courses to $1800 instead of $2500.
