Does anyone out there have a list of clep and dantes exams and what category they fall under. Humanities, Gen ed ect... I feel lost trying to plan my next steps. I do not want to repeat anything and lose the credit.

Have you decided what degree you'd like to earn, or what school you'd like to attend? The best way to get started it to draw out a basic plan for your degree, and that will vary a bit depending on those choices. Even if you haven't decided, a general plan can be drawn from taking a look at degree requirements from each school.

For instance, you can download EC's Liberal Arts Catalog here. https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_Coll...beral_Arts
You will find information regarding general requirements for a BA/BS in liberal arts starting on pg. 33. Of course, this is just an example, and if you decide on a major, there will be additional/specific requirements for your chosen area.

Here is a link to download the Credit by Exam guide from EC. You will find a list of CLEP & Dantes exams beginning on pg. 30. There is also a very helpful General Ed by Exam guide on pg. 47. https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_Coll...atalog.pdf
I'm just using EC as an example here. You can begin to get an idea of what exams fit in where.

Looks like maybe you are thinking about TESC? Here's a link to their handbook- http://www.tesc.edu/files/ProgramPlanningHandbook.pdf
Maybe some TESC students will chime in and give you some more info about where specifically to find the CLEP & DSST pages.

Here's another list of CLEP exams and categories:

Hope this helps Smile
