COSC maybe won't accept Strategic Business Management. It might duplicate the COSC capstone which covers Strategic Management. Changed it to reflect your input...thanks!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

If I used PF for their business bachelor's, how close would I be to a bsba CIS at TESU if I transfered after graduation?

My understanding is that if the credits are used to earn a bachelor's degree, you can't transfer them at all. You would instead have to apply to do a second bachelor's which requires new credits. Although you shouldn't have to repeat your GenEd.

Hello,
How far are you in the Bachelors Degree for Penn Foster? Are you about done or just starting?
I just skimmed their program and also checked their ACE Credit Recommendations for the first few.
I think this is a tad long and complex. Here are the links to check. Hope this helps,
From a quick glance, I would guess and estimate roughly 32 of those courses will come through.
There are about 8 electives with no name for the course, but you can use this older guide and see.
That means, from the new rules, you can transfer them all in... Oh wait, you can't.
There is a limit of 90 credits from one source. Hmmm, you're stuck at either 24 or 30.
24 credits for a second new BSBA degree, or if you're not done yet with first BS you can bring 90.
You can bring more that that to either degree, but can't come from Penn Foster, or one source.
You will need to take at minimum the AOS (area of study) courses or alternatives listed here.

Would TESU even acknowledge a DEAC degree, or would they consider as if the OP hasn't graduated. If that's the case one could graduate with 2 for the price of one.

Two for the price of one is what I am trying to get as close as possible to doing!
I haven't started, but I have enjoyed my other PF so I figured I would do the PF just to get a bachelors and then branch out from there.

I don't think TESU will give you a second bachelor's degree in the same field that you already got one, even if you changed your concentration - the only thing you can do is get 2 concentrations at the same time there (i.e. a BSBA in Marketing and Finance, or in CIS and HR). If you choose the BSBA in General Management, you can't get another concentration at all. So getting a BSBA at PF will probably make it impossible to get another BSBA at TESU.
So, I would advise that you create a degree plan at TESU, and then you can continue to take PF ACE-recommended courses if you want, but you can also do CLEP, DSST, SL, Saylor, etc. You will get the best of both worlds: some PF courses, but a TESU degree (BSBA in CIS).

I'd recommend you pursue both at the same time, but graduate from TESU first and a day later apply for PF graduation. Since DEAC doesn't have any multiple degree restrictions. My goal is to do the same thing.

Haha, that's awesome, I was thinking along the same line as when I was at a nationally accredited school, I was also interested in completing their Bachelors until they actually lost their accreditation for some reason or another.

That's true I believe, as long as those courses are ACE Recommended for credit and it applies to the degree in question, you technically should be able to get another degree at TESU by doing the capstone, cornerstone for GPA, and pay the residency waiver, then transfer the remainder of the credits over. I think the most from one source is 90 credits.
