Congratulations on passing! If it's weird, shrug it off, you don't have to worry about the proctor & focus.
It's just you taking a test, no one there should be stopping you from completing it when you're in the zone.

Can you be more specific? What's "weird" about the proctor?
Congratulations on the pass!

I agree that what you state is very vague, but congrats on passing the test. I stressed over that one, but I hate all tests.

I just posted a thorough answer, and it timed out, and all was lost...
This is the essence of that post:
My sincere apologies for a short and vague post. Here is what I should have said to make it more clear. (Guess I can do more writing practice, yeah?)
Explanation of weird = Perhaps if test operator wasn't so interested in phone texting, it could have felt more positive for me.
Have you ever had to hand your credit card to someone who caused you to feel distrusting, while treating you in a condescending manner?
All I asked testing center operator was;
1) Can you provide a CLEP test. (was told answer is too complicated to explain to you.)
2) What is test time length. (Test Operator had to consult big CLEP book.)
Anyway, they were able to provide the test, and I passed A&I and College Comp. = 9 credits in 5 days, due to reading Instantcert.
Am wrapping up TESU ASBA with Am Govt. and Art. Just don't know how you guys and gals do it, with kids too. Hat's off to y'all.
Thank you for your kind words, and your skepticism. I was in panic mode, due to all pressure from work, and testing, and all.
You Guys and Gals Rock. Thank you for your posts, and guidance. Your determination is contagious.
Very Best Regards,
traveler

Grrr. Don't you just HATE it when you've created a thoughtful, articulate piece of writing, only to lose it to timing out, PC going on the fritz, etc.? I don't know about you, but the replacement writing is never as good!
While I've never had someone be condescending AND inspiring distrust at the same time, I can understand how it could put you off. Just the hesitation because of the distrust would probably affect my score. (I'd be wondering what was being purchased from a leather store in Italy as I took my test!) You would think someone who monitored would know the ins and outs of the tests, but, since you can't even get directions at a gas station any longer, we might be too demanding.
Congratulations on the passes! Feels good, doesn't it? Just two more courses/tests? Good for you. If I hadn't had to take both stats and col. alg. to get the associate's at TESU in business, I would have gone for one. It would have instilled in me a sense of accomplishment that, I think would have increased my motivation for the BS. Ah, well. That ship has sailed. I have the bachelor's, and I'm grateful.

That's as bad as when one time I spent several hours creating a report, I literally was still typing it out when my laptop froze! It did not save my work and I had to do it over again. Luckily, I had drafted most of it on paper and inputting it.
Stuff happens, I shrug it off and continue doing what's needed to get whatever it is you're doing done.

I've had this happen way too many times. It can be very frustrating. But to be honest, it has at times made me rethink my post and not post something that really wasn't that important or something I would regret.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
