I spoke to two enrolment agents at UMPI YourPace program adn they both said that I needed work experience to get enrolled. Three of them also said there is no age requirement to enroll.
I guess I was asking the wrong questions.
I will focus on gettin all the Sophia Credits/study/instacert/etc I can and then apply.
Can someone tell me what the process looks like?
ie
take all the credits i can
apply to the school
i will be 20 by february
I am so confused.

I don't know what they are talking about! You need to be 20 years old. Forget the enrollment counselors. Send me a pm and change your pm settings so I can respond. I have someone who is directly involved in YourPace at UMPI that can help you. She works at UMPI and is not an enrollment counselor.
You need complete all of the courses you want to transfer before you apply. Once you apply, it will take a couple of weeks for you to be accepted and your transcripts evaluated. Once you're accepted you're basically enrolled. You'll need permission from your academic advisor to transfer courses into UMPI after you're enrolled.

Yeah, I get a call every couple of weeks from and enrollment counselor asking me to enroll. Most of the time I tell them I am already enrolled and almost done at UMPI. A couple times I have just hung up. They have been the only part of my experience with UMPI that has NOT been good.

I don't even answer them when they call. I'm an alumni and they try to explain YourPace to me. All except 1 were wrong about how it all actually works. My first enrollment counselor last year was great. I don't know what has happened since then. These new people are TERRIBLE.

I spoke with the YourPace people yesterday and they said it is a requirement to have two years of "work experience" to be accepted. They asked me about my job experience.

Define "YourPace people". If you called the 800 number on the website, you didn't speak with anyone in YourPace. You spoke with an enrollment counselor who doesn't actually work for UMPI. They hire a third party to handle the sales pitch.

The person I spoke with called me after I applied to UMPI, I did not call them. His name is Russell Anthony Gipson, Enrollment Specialist. I have over 30 years work experience, so I'm not concerned for myself, just relaying information that was discussed on the phone call.

Yeah, you spoke with an enrollment counselor. They don't actually work at UMPI. They are sales people employed by a third party to get everyone to apply and enroll at UMPI. Unfortunately, often times they don't know much about the YourPace program. It's not like you need documentation of any kind to show work experience when applying to UMPI.
