No, but you can watch the Great Courses videos on Kanopy which has transcripts, and you can find the other main videos (from UCI) on YouTube. The YouTube ones are auto-generated so the transcripts have errors, but most of them are good. Then there are other YouTube videos used in the courses. Most of them probably have transcripts too.

You're welcome. I found out through the Online Degree courses that use GC videos, because it lets you open in Kanopy for free.

As an aside, the total lack of transcripts might be good grounds for an ADA/Unruh Act lawsuit. If you're a deaf person who's had trouble using onlinedegree please DM me, I have a great lawyer who does Unruh Act class action lawsuits.

Wouldn't the usual step be to bring the omission to their attention before filing a lawsuit? That is what I usually do when I have accessibility issues. It usually solves the problem more quickly, unless of course the people involved are total jerks—in which case, go ahead and sue.

BUT all the videos I've watched so far on OnlineDegree have had captioning. So unless some of the videos are missing captioning or there is something in the Unruh Act I'm not familiar with, I think they're covered.

years ago I think Stanford or Berkeley university had a bunch of videos on youtube without captions and when people complained they just removed the videos Sad

Yeah I signed up but won't be taking any courses on onlinedegree because there is no option of transcripts for the videos and cannot skip them.

I'd rather study on sophia or SL.

It is really not for me as I learn reading.

I can barely make it through the boring Spanish language videos on Modern States
