Hi everyone,
I have been lurking on this board for several months, but finally signed up for Instacerts this week.
I have been employed as a police officer for 18 years. Prior to getting hired in my current profession, I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps. Before that was high school.
What I am getting at is I am basically starting my pursuit of a bachelors degree from scratch. I know that I will get a few hours credit here and there for various training I have received, but I want to focus on clep/dsst tests for the time being.
I have pretty much decided on criminal justice as my major and I'm leaning towards TESC, although this is not set in stone. Like most people on this board, I am always busy with work, family, commitments, etc, so I am looking for the most efficient path. I am guessing that involves as many clep/dsst tests as possible.
Is there anyone out there that obtained a bachelors degree from TESC primarily through testing? If so, I would love to see a copy of your degree plan.
I have considered pursuing a Homeland Security bachelors rather than criminal justice, but it appears that I would have to take more classes rather than testing.
I am ready to begin testing, I just need to know which test to start with.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Mike
