@blablablox, Thanks for letting me know... I'll let my cousins in Canada know about this deal then, we'll follow your same steps just in case!

@blablablox, thank you. I followed your example and signed up the same way and just finished my first professional certification!

I really want to take one of the certificates from Harvard on edX, but I'm in the middle of moving house (interstate) and wouldn't be able to dedicate time to it until August. I'm now a bit worried as I see other people have lost out on certificates as the courses they need get closed down. The first course is 4 weeks long, does that mean I have 4 weeks to complete it, or is it unlimited time/a year etc, and so I could enroll now and not work on it until August?

That's just an average estimated time of completion, you can sign up for all the classes required for the Cert (as long as they're open and ready). If the class isn't available, you wouldn't be able to add it, you can complete the classes anytime as long as you have access I believe...

One more month left! I got this email earlier this morning Nov 1, at 7am!
Congratulations on your journey with the Verizon Skill Forward Program! We hope you’ve gained valuable knowledge and skills so far.
As a reminder, your subscription will end next month. That means you still have 30 days to complete any open courses or revisit topics you found helpful. We encourage you to make the most of this time and finish strong!
As with other edX courses, you’ll have lifetime free access to the course content even after your subscription ends. However, any courses not completed by the end of your subscription will require individual payment if you wish to continue them and earn a certificate after your subscription ends. So be sure to wrap up those final lessons while you can!
We’re so proud of the progress you’ve made and can’t wait to see how you apply your new skills. Thank you for being part of this program, and we hope it’s been a rewarding experience.
Keep up the great work, and let us know if you need any assistance along the way!

I actually got some use out this program. Walked away with several completions. I slacked the second half of the year due to some deaths in the family and taking it pretty hard but looking to get back into my studies after the holidays. Thank you all for posting these. Especially for people like me that have very little cash flow to work with and just want to learn/earn some credits along the way.
