failed world conflicts

failed!!! Got a D!
I got overconfident and studied for 5 days and failed today afternoon.I studied very hard but i guess the time devoted to it was not enough.There was lot of information and it deserved at least a week or more.I wish instacert had a guide for it for all these exams.
Anyways...this means i still have 3 more to go to officially complete my degree.
I am allowed to take any upper level credit in place of this one.Please advice me which would be the easiest.I have taken all 4 ECE psychology exams that have IC has guides for.I have taken Ethics Theory and Practice and World Population and Civil war and Soviet Union.Last year i took Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
So i guess my options are:
DSST Management Info Systems---My knowledge about computers is terrible and almost nil.I find this subject pretty tough because of this.
Social Psychology---maybe i can wait for this one till IC gets a guide for it in March.
ECE Cultural Diversity-- I don't know anyone that has taken it yet.
Organizational Behavior ECE.
I want to complete my degree by March first week as i will be going out of the country for almost a month after that.
What other options do you think would be good?
The other 2 exams remaining are College Writing and Statistics.

I'm so sorry. I know the feeling-- I'm pretty sure I bombed a 4 hour test for a job today. Must be a bad day for testing, is it a full moon?

I haven't taken any upper level tests yet, but I would lean toward anything that IC covers.

I got an A on MIS using only IC, it is very doable, even if you hate computers. Just study the cards, memorize them, and take the test. I was really sweating this one as I studied for it but was quite relieved when I was taking it, it was not too bad. Good Luck, Lee

I also did pretty well on MIS. I got an A using IC exclusively. I was pretty surprised because I was quite unsure with a number of items during the test, and I still got an A. If I can do it, and I'm no expert in computers, you CAN DEFINITELY DO IT as well! Give it a try. IC should be enough. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear about that. I just failed Social Psychology with a D two days ago. If you can wait for IC, you probably should.
I'm going to write the MIS tomorrow (that's at least my plan, and I will let you know how it works out.
Your feedback on World Populations was great and very helpful!!!
Head up, I know how you feel, but you are almost there.

Katrin..i was actually going to go for Social Psychology instead of World Conflicts.Now i will wait for IC's guide.I feel so unprepared when taking an exam without an IC guide.With the flashcards it's like even when i am not concentrating much..i tend to retain a lot of information later.I am sure that's how it is for everyone.
Please let me know how MIS goes.

cheer up ....dont get upset for failing the exam .....

i didnt do well on my principles of marketing ...i recieved a 44 and the last time was a 49 ....however, i passed on west civ i & ii with a 61 and 66....humanities a 60...us history 1 and 2 with 59 and 56.....

nat science with 54.... intro to bus law - 70....

i felt i did well on the intro to mid east-rise and fall of soviet union...but i felt a little shaky about the civil war exam....

one of the reasons for my failure in the marketing exam has to do with personal anxieties against test taking on this particular subject ....

so i feel its better for me to take an independent study course on it from some community college even though its an easy topic.....

we can all pass these exams but we are also human ....with personal limitations....just take as many exams as you can .....

i should have waited a little longer for the marketing ....

OK, I wrote my MIS yesterday and oh well, it was not an easy one:o . I would recoomend IC for MIS as well as the CLEP review for Information Systems (this will help with the technical aspect.)
I personally am a very visual learner:eek: , and I think, this exam would have been easier for me, if I would have prepared little diagrams of how the infomration flows. To understand the whole concept, I recommend you draw little tree diagrams which show the flow of for example, customer request, rep enters it in the system, sytem check's inventory, etc...
I do believe that when you are able to make all the connections, this exam will be much easier. I also believe that IC is enough for passing the exam.
Let me know if I can help with any additional info. (I took the paper test, not the computer version).
