# hours required from TESU?
#1
So, I just got my TESU Graduation Information, with this very disconcerting note:

"You have been audited for a BA in Liberal Studies-Social Sciences. Please Note: Your enrollment program requires that you take a certain number of Thomas Edison State University courses before you can graduate and you have 6 credits left to be completed, to fulfill that requirement."

First, I cannot find anywhere on the TESU site or in emails to/from them where it is stated I must have X number of courses through TESU.  Second, according to my OSS, I've completed ALL the requirements in each category (including a few extra hours).

I will contact TESU tomorrow, but for now . . . any insights on this "required" number of courses/hours from TESU?

Thanks!

Residency Waiver FeeIn-state
$2,200
Out-of-state
$2,500

NOTE: The Residency Waiver fee is a one-time fee that only applies to students who do not earn at least 16 credits via the University’s Online (OL), Guided Study (GS) or e-Pack (EP) courses before they complete their degree. If a student pays the fee, and does not apply for graduation within 12 months, they will be required to pay additional residency waiver fees. It does not apply to students enrolled under the University's Comprehensive Tuition Plan.

Are you paying the residency waiver? Just a thought but perhaps you need 6 more credits to residency?

Thanks for the info.  Yep, paid the Residency Waiver last December, and am still within the timeframe to graduate this month.

I had to pay $760 at Excelsior not to do all the Residency requirements.  It was worth it to me. Big Grin

Yes, that's exactly what it looks like.  I'm calling them in just a few minutes to get this sorted out. Smile
