I need some help. I am brand new to IC and would like some advice. I would like to take the College Mathematics Clep but it has ben several years since I have done anything like it. I was looking through some of the questions and was completly lost. If I get all of the questions down do you think I could pass the test or should I try some other options too. I appreciate your time.

I took the college math about three weeks ago, I have not had a math class in 35 years. I tried the college algebra but missed passing by 3 questions. For me that was a major victory. Trying to teach yourself algebra was very difficult. So I opted to take the math test. I used Petersons CLEP 9th edition study guide and also the book 'Thinking Mathematically'. The book really helped me out. I felt a lot more confident after taking this test than I did for the algebra test. Also the questions here at IC were a great source to verify what I had learned with the study aids I used.

If you can borrow or buy the Comex guide and learn everything in there, then you should pass with flying colors - no matter how long ago you last took a math class!
I'm not sure about the IC flashcards, because I did not use them for this test. Happy testing!

Hello,
has anyone out there used the Pass Your Class guide for the College Mathematics CLEP?
Can you get by with just this guide alone?
Let me know
Dave
