saying hello
#1
Hey all - after starting the spring semester at UMUC I hardly realized that almost two months have gone by without stopping in and saying hello to everyone. I've also determined that I'm not going to be taking any more exams ... so I will not be frequenting the boards nearly as much. For those of you who sent PM's these past two months I'm sorry I didn't respond.

My final 36 credits are pretty much set in stone now @ UMUC. I will finish a BS in information assurance with a minor in business law / public policy fall 2010 if I can manage the course load. I'm also starting to look grad school - MBA / or MS Info Systems. So my next exam will be the GRE.

I will be posting a list of books that I would like to donate here shortly. Take a look at my signature to see what exams I have materials for. I will have a complete list later this evening.

Best,

Matt

Matt,
I will miss you so much if you're not on the boards - but I absolutely understand why. I have to say that you, over and above everyone else I've met, have been such a tremendous source of inspiration, study assistance, motivation, etc., to me personally.

It has been my pleasure (and amazing good fortune) to have been preparing for some of the same tests at the same time as you. You have always been very generous in sharing study materials, notes, etc., and I'll miss getting your feedback on tests.

Please stay in touch and good luck in your B&M classes. Although, you haven't needed any luck yet to get where you are - preferring instead to rely on careful preparation and attention to detail. I'm sure you will continue to do just terrific.

Best wishes,
Kelly

Completely free, including postage. My way of saying that you to a wonderful community. Only two catches.

1. Send me a PM if you are interested, but I will be waiting for a couple of days to respond. I'd like to pay back those who have directly helped me first, and I want those people to have a chance to respond. I'm sure you understand.

2. Once you're done with books I'd ask that you return the favor by donating these books back to the community. Keep the spirit alive, there are very few places out there like this ....

This is lot one - I will post additional books later:

1. REA Introductory Sociology with CD (new actually, never took it)

2. Barron's Management Book

3. Barron's Finance Book

4. Barron's Business Law

5. Barron's Marketing

6. Barron's Economics

7. Rudman's MIS Exam

8. Rudman's Money & Banking

9. Rudman's Business Law (better for DSST BL2, not CLEP BL)

I see everyone listing a number or score. How do you know what you need and how many questions on on the exams. Next week I am taking Here's to Your Health. I have heard that it is an easier one but on the boards I am hearing otherwise. I am purchasing the DSST guidebook should I also get the individual guides? I tried the download link but they did not work.

Any help or tips to get me going would be great!!!!

Kelly - aww, thanks! You've made a grown man blush. And I'm one of those nascar racing, John Deere owning, firewood splitting, F150 driving sort of guys! No easy task. You helped me more than I helped you, that much I'm sure of. Thanks again, email me if you need anything and keep in touch.

Chris, all of the CLEPS have a suggested pass score of 50 - though some universities may have different requirements - check with them directly. Dantes exams have different exam pass requirements - look here:
