Anyone taking straighter line courses, i have done acct I and II and biz comm. In both experiences the book has been invaluable. Imagine you are writing the straighter line test and you decide to simply take sections of the book and ask if a statement in that section is true or false. This is the case in a lot of the questions.
Some other questions are answered by looking at figures in the relevant section. For example, on accounting, the statement of cash flows usually contains x. Just find that statement and see if x is on it.
You should know these answers anyway vut it's nice to be sure by looking at the statement.
