SL worked for me as a last resort (Algebra). I struggled years ago with remedial classes, couldn't make it work. Finally gave up and decided I would just go through life without a degree. Even ALEKS sort of failed me, or I failed at it. SL was the last chance and their format clicked. The only class I ever took with them was that Math, but I'm glad it worked out.

SL was great for me too. I took 9+ classes on there and found them "simple" enough as long as you do the work.
I finally just finished my degree @TESU and without SL, it would have taken me a ton longer without that option.

As an FYI, I screwed myself on the Oral Communications (speech class) requirement from TESU, which was totally my fault so I signed up for the class at SL and finished it in less than a week to get myself back on track. Just an example as to how beneficial it can be.

....btw, I finished the workload in less than a week but had to wait longer for them to grade my speech submissions...just to be clear :-)

Even when i had an issue with ProctorU applying the completion to the wrong class, SL was VERY VERY helpful to get things resolved. I was very pleased with their customer service.
