RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - bjcheung77 - 10-21-2017 FYI, If you're not taking the Study.com version of this course. The Straighterline Intro to Communications comes into TESU as the same thing. RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - omnk522 - 10-27-2017 Does this course transferring into TESU as com-290 count towards general electives? Did the SL course equivalency change from TESU's COM-209? I thought Presentation Skills was COM-290? RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - posabsolute - 10-27-2017 Same here, if it does not come as 290 I lost 1 night of work .I will try to get it planned at TESU Monday see what happen. RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - DIGI-212 - 10-27-2017 Came in as COM-290 in my evaluation. I wasn't familiar with COM-120 at Study.com and because of you guys I just checked, because of overlap with other courses, I had completed all but 3 quizzes. Done with those and will take the final tomorrow. Hoping it comes in at TESU at COM-290 for me too. Thanks Retire2018 and Digi-212 for the info. This couldn't possibly to 3 units, right?!Which courses provided the overlap for all but 3 quizzes? Hard to say. I've taken a lot of Study.com courses.... hugely likely that it was Communications 101. I took the quizzes and final last year but never submitted the speeches. Thing is, it was only worth 2 semester credits at that time so this may be a way to get the full 3 semester credits for me. It's so few quizzes total, you have probably knocked them out already (since it took me awhile to notice and reply to this thread). RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - BearEDU - 10-28-2017 I think communications 101 gave me like 85% of this course. So this is some easy credit if you take the com 101 along with this. RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - retire2018 - 10-28-2017 STUDY.COM NCCRS COURSES Study.com has a new process for NCCRS courses where they directly report your exam results, transcript to TESU and Excelsior. Copy/paste the link: *To request a transcript, please fill out the information on this link: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/b90253...bd813935c1 Then the Study.com registrar office will send your transcripts straight to the school, free of charge. *If it fails, advise Study.com Support to send you the link for your completed NCCRS course. RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - retire2018 - 11-01-2017 I just received this email from TESU: Study.com course was added and it will show under TESU-NCCRS as COM-290 Presentational Speaking 3 credits. RE: study.com Presentation Skills in the Workplace - posabsolute - 11-01-2017 @retire2018, how did it show on your received transcript? Study.com says they sent my transcript, but the only new on I see on TESU is tesu-assessment, not sure it is really linked... |
