Satisfying Ethics at TESU - Mspeachy - 09-06-2018 Hello all. I've spent 2 days searching the site and I am wondering if the Intro to Philosophy course I took at a University would satisfy the ethics requirement at TESU or will they just apply these credits to knowledge of human cultures/and or gen ed? RE: Satisfying Ethics at TESU - MNomadic - 09-06-2018 Not sure but I would take the free ethics course mentioned here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Free_Sources_of_Credit RE: Satisfying Ethics at TESU - jsd - 09-06-2018 A general philosophy wouldn't do it, but like MNomadic said, just take the free course to satisfy the requirement. RE: Satisfying Ethics at TESU - Mspeachy - 09-06-2018 Thank you guys. I'll get started. RE: Satisfying Ethics at TESU - ISKBizz15 - 09-06-2018 The Free Ethics course is only 2 credits, is there another class that I would have to take to fulfill the remaining 1 credit, or would TESU just accept it as is? There are several free options from the link I shared that can satisfy that. RE: Satisfying Ethics at TESU - ISKBizz15 - 09-06-2018 Oh okay awesome! Are you sure? When I had the cornerstone waived it created an additional 1 credit 'loss', so I needed 2 credits to be made up in the Gen Eds (1 for the Ethics exception, and 1 for the Cornerstone). I 'made up' the other 1 credit with a science lab I brought in. I suppose it could vary depending on how many credits you bring in to cover the Natural World 4-7 credit requirement (at least it did in my case) |
