Hello all. I've spent 2 days searching the site and I am wondering if the Intro to Philosophy course I took at a University would satisfy the ethics requirement at TESU or will they just apply these credits to knowledge of human cultures/and or gen ed?

A general philosophy wouldn't do it, but like MNomadic said, just take the free course to satisfy the requirement.

The Free Ethics course is only 2 credits, is there another class that I would have to take to fulfill the remaining 1 credit, or would TESU just accept it as is?
GOAL

The Institutes | 312N-H Ethics (2cr.)
Study.com | Communications 120: Presentation Skills in the Workplace (3 cr.)

It would meet your ethics requirement and they would just require 1 additional credit in gen Ed to make up for it. There are several free options from the link I shared that can satisfy that.

Since TESU now requires everyone to take the cornerstone, that will give you the 1 credit that you need in Gen Eds.

Are you sure? When I had the cornerstone waived it created an additional 1 credit 'loss', so I needed 2 credits to be made up in the Gen Eds (1 for the Ethics exception, and 1 for the Cornerstone). I 'made up' the other 1 credit with a science lab I brought in. I suppose it could vary depending on how many credits you bring in to cover the Natural World 4-7 credit requirement (at least it did in my case)
