INSPIRE Information Is there any way to access the Peterson's dod mwr as a civilian? - jcwphr - 11-05-2009 Only if you have a direct affiliation with the military (ie. you are active/ reserves/ retired, you are married to someone who is, or if you are/were a dependant of someone who is). Peterson's site offers a few practice tests for free but the DOD MWR site offers free practice tests for nearly all subjects. You would have to register with them directly of which they do ask for details regarding your military affiliation to valid your eligibilty on their site. Hope this helps & Good luck!! It seems the only way to get practice for the other DSST's is through the DOD site. I wonder why they are not offered for a fee? I am a veteran and had no problems signing up for my wife to use.
