Just noticed this degree from the sister board...  It's something for individuals who work in say, Homeland Security, International Peacekeeping, etc.  I'm not in this profession, it does look intriguing for those interested in global issues and international systems that are in place...  It may even suit active duty or reservists who want to enter into fields of consulting after their years of service!

UC-Cork's Strategic Studies MA (https://www.ucc.ie/en/cke11/). Two years, first is course work, second is thesis. There's an optional summer seminar between years. Total Cost is about $9500 US (~4200 euro per year).

Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Studies
Candidates who pass 60 credits of taught modules may opt to exit the programme and be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Studies
