Asking for help with my a review of my degree plan
#1
Please review my plan (attached) for mistakes or omissions.
Location: Pennsylvania, USA
Age: 60
Degree: BSBA operations management, TESU (open to other options)
RA: 0
Current Ace:18 credits
Sophia
Intro to Ethics
US History 1
Environmental Science
Accounting
Principles of Finance
Macroeconomics

Certs or military experience: None
Budget: Not a concern but don’t want to spend needlessly. Time is more important.
Commitments: Just finishing this
Dedicated time to study: 30-35 hours per week
Timeline: I would like to finish as fast as possible. 1-2 years if possible.
Tuition assistance: None
Relevant info:
I am a good test taker. I did well on several TECEP sample tests but prefer guided courses even if I know the material. The plan I have includes taking the TECEP for Nutrition and Algebra. But others are not out of the question – I just scored lower on the samples.
The Sophia classes were very easy for me. The information was familiar (for the most part). But I still enjoyed the read-through.
I am hoping to get some guidance on my plan (below).
Many thanks to all those that provided the information on this forum that made this plan essentially a “cut and paste” operation – any mistakes are mine.
Questions:
1)   There is a requirement for a grade “C” or better in area of study and the “ENC’s”. Will Sophia work for the ENC’s since it is pass/fail?
2)   Do my equivalents look correct? In particular – should the Tel-Learning courses work where I plugged them in?
3)   Are there any substitutions I should make for ease or speed?

Please note this plan is for 6 Tel classes, 1 Tecep and 3 classes at TESU in one semester.
If Tel is not a good fit - plan B calls for 2 Teceps, 1 e-pack and 6 classes at TESU over 2 semesters.

Thank you in advance!

If you are starting from scratch, you are much better off doing a degree at UMPI. They have a BABA in Supply Chain Management, and you could do Sophia for 1-3 months, take 90cr from Sophia and Study.com, and then finish up at UMPI in 2 8-week terms, for a cost of $3000. I'm guessing you'll spend less than $4000 total on this degree.

I agree with dfrecore that UMPI would be much quicker, and cheaper, route to a business bachelor degree; especially since you have no existing RA credits. Although I would probably suggest the Management and Leadership AOS due to it being reported as the quickest to complete. Unless you are already working in the supply chain field - then that would be a good option.

Here is the wiki page for M&L, which also includes the Sophia GECs you'll need - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan

@JimG63, is there a specific reason for TESU and their BSBA? Even though they have ACBSP, their requirements are 30 RA, you can do a combination of TECEPs or even a PLA to get closer to that educational goal. You can complete the bulk of your credits using ACE/NCCRS sources we recommend on the forum, such as Sophia.org, Study.com, etc. I would recommend UMPI over TESU unless you have a specific reason to get the degree at TESU...

Thank you everyone for your replies!
UPMI it is for the BABA M&L!
Long explanation:
Tesu was the original choice because the plan I found here on the forum would have had me enrolled for 1 or 2 semesters.
This is important because of work. Occasionally I am given large projects that take all my working time and a lot of free time. Projects can last for 1-3 months.
So studying on my own with Sophia and Study.com and even Tel is ideal because I can drop them if necessary and come back to them later.
The less time I'm formally enrolled in a school - the less of a chance work will interfere.
UPMI - works even better to answer my concerns because the terms are only eight weeks.
The ASAP in my timeline is simply because of my age.
The idea of going to school has been with me for years.
It only became a serious possibility after I stumbled across this forum.
Thank you again to all of you for your time and efforts!

You should start with Sophia.org and then move to Study.com, just make sure you do the bulk with Sophia.org first and then move onto Study.com and not have two subscriptions open... Lastly, complete the courses at UMPI and you'll be done in a couple sessions, if you don't have the time to get things done, go at Your own comfy Pace and complete a third and final session at $4500, but two sessions at $3K is the deal you want to shoot for...

Hello,

I am having trouble interpreting something – can you help?
For the BA Major and M&L concentration – the plan states “most UL courses must be taken at UMPI”.
There are only 5 courses listed in the major and Concentration that don’t have alternative credits. Do I plan on just taking those five at UMPI and filling the balance of the 30-credit UPMI requirement with electives at UMPI?
If not – do I just assume I’m taking all 400 and 300 classes at UMPI?
Thank you in advance.

Aside from those 5, you get to pick which classes you take at UMPI. After reading reviews, some people might prefer to take a certain course through Study.com while different students would prefer to take it at UMPI.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
