Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None

Any certifications or military experience? None

Budget: I’d like to take most budget friendly option, but will consider spending more for easy and fast.
Commitments: I currently work full time and have a baby on the way. Some flexibility to work on my studies part time or in the evenings/weekends.
Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is often free (I occasionally do get drafted to work on weekends). I estimate at least 3 hours every week night.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal.  I would like to finish within 1 year (12-13 months)
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None, although I do qualify for the State University Grant if I continue my studies at CSUN.

@Lvnv1, Welcome to the board... Great addendum and template post with updated info! I think you're pretty much setup for the Pierpont BOG AAS (try to get an emphasis that may be unique such as Film & Production Technology), then ladder that to the UMPI BAS with a PM & IS double minor, plus the 4 classes that go towards the MAOL...

With that time of 20 hours a week, you should be in great shape to get this done, you can then continue with the UMPI MAOL as you would only need 9 more classes until you complete that, pricing will go up from $2150 to $2350 I think, but if you can again complete it within two session, you're golden, it's a very affordable Masters for less than $5K...

Here's a thread with the plan basics in post #3: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...on-to-MOAL  ...  Here's another for deadline to apply to UMPI in post #6 and send transcripts, apply early and send those transcripts as well: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...-CFP-Marks

BJ,

Thanks for the prompt reply and the suggestions. I totally forgot to mention that I have completed three Associate of Arts degrees in Social and Science, Broadcasting, and Broadcasting TV.

Since most of these schools appear to accept only up to 90 credits, should I avoid taking any classes via Sophia or Study.com? I was considering taking Spanish 1, Business Ethics, and Principles of Management courses.

Apply for the BLS as your AA's won't be accepted for the BAS, send in all transcripts, wait for an evaluation, you can take whatever you want on Sophia.org as long as it either hits your remaining credits for transfer, or for interest and/or learning objectives.

For instance, your AA classes may not fully transfer into general education and electives, if you're needing more gen ed or elective classes, then the Sophia.org classes would fill the void, example a lab or language class requirement.

Review the WIKI for UMPI, make sure you've got all the general education credits done, you can decide to do one, two, or three minors, plus the four classes towards the MAOL. Here's the link, decide from MIS, PM, or something else like Management: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI

Since you're going to need to do 10 courses at UMPI not matter what, instead of the BLS you may want to consider applying for the 'BA in English – Professional Communication & Journalism Concentration' it seems to go very well with your academic background, and gives you the communications major you mentioned. Any core Gen Eds you may be missing can fill in with Sophia easily at a low cost (and quickly).
