Grad School - Last transcripts
#1
I remember reading a while back about a grad school that only requires you to submit your transcripts from only the school you received your degree at. I have been searching the forums for the last few hours and can't seem to find it again. Any ideas where this was or what grad school it is?

For admission to a graduate program, almost all schools will require transcripts from every higher education institution attended. I have seen some schools that do not require transcripts from schools where less than six semester hours was earned.

That being said, it is not unusual to only require a transcript to which an undergraduate degree has been posted for NON-DEGREE admission to graduate study.

All the schools I applied to / looked at for me and my husband wanted all transcripts. I have 7, so it's a pain (and $). If you find a school like Harvard University's extension, they don't want transcripts until you enroll as a degree candidate- which you can't apply for until passing 3 courses in your concentration....but if you want a degree, eventually transcripts must be sent. Sorry, I don't know how to get around this.
You might try contacting each school and asking for a bulk discount. Several schools cut us a break for buying 10 at a time. (all individually sealed of course)

I think Capella only requires your degree transcript plus any post-degree ones, but am not sure about this.

Otherwise, yeah, everybody wants the whole truckload. Even WGU, which surprised me.
