I won't go on a Rosetta Stone bashing fit, but I hated it. I'm also a member on a hardcore Language Learning forum where people who know 5+, 8+ languages bash RS. Regardless...

I'm probably a B1 in German, if you are familiar with the CEFR. I have learned from books, podcasts (Deutsche Welle FTW!), movies (my graduation present from my mom was a region-free DVD player :hurraySmile, music, etc. plus a short time of tutoring from a German exchange student. I love German. Big Grin

After I master German I plan to move on to more languages :p
