Once you start a section you're not expected to know any of the fill in the blank answers, and you can keep hitting next and trying to remember the answers. I think this is the best way because having you type in the word(s) makes it easier for your mind to remember key terms.
Just remember to always read through each question and explanation, because you'll soon start memorizing questions and throwing the answer in there on autopilot (which isn't good). When you keep reading the terminology and definitions over and over again you start to implant it in your mind.
