Hi dthom,
I just looked up an earlier thread you started. I suggest you talk to your local education office about completing your CCAF degree. The CLEPs you can take for that should easily transfer in to EC since they are gen eds. Note that ALEKS is great for knocking out the math requirement for your BS degree, but it will not be acceptable for your CCAF degree. However, the College Math CLEP will do just fine. So basically you can kill two birds with one stone so to speak -- get your CCAF while testing towards your BS degree.
Your best bet regarding advice on how to progress for your BS degree will be for you to list what credits you already have, and then people will be able to tell where you are and advise you on how to get where you want to go.
And yes, I believe at least a couple other people here have at least discussed commissioning, but I don't recall hearing anything regarding completion and OTS acceptance.
Finally, check out the wiki and other links below, they are provided specifically to help you out.
Edit: I just realized you are deployed. Do you get much support/advice from your local ed office (such as it is)?
