The only exam that I know of which has a blank line to enter your answer is the College Mathematics exam. As clep 3705 pointed out, there are also the different ones which require listening (all the foreign language exams), speaking/recording (the public speaking one) and writing (optional essays are offered for two of the DSST exams and three of the CLEP exams; mandatory typed essays are required for one CLEP exam).
Definitely check out the websites for CLEP and DSST. I am hearing more and more that testing candidates don't even bother to read over the information on these sites. Why is this?
