Capstone Simulation is passed, that took awhile and my hat is off to the Uof P team mate, she has been simply outstanding! Goes to show you that a great student can overcome a miserably bad college IMO.
I have also completed the 5-6 page Capstone Task 1. It was essentially a recap/reflection on how the simulation went. It asked questions about your individual performance (after viewing a peer review) and about how you felt the team did overall. You also had to explain how the simulation relates to your professional work.
Pretty straightforward, we will see if I pass on the first go around!
Once this one is approved I have a team presentation and a problem statement to write up and this degree will be in the books (or on the wall
).
The presentation will be in the form of a slideshow and we have to work together on it. Fortunately the whole team is working pretty hard to finish before the end of January.
I have received approval on my problem statement. i will be working up a plan to get nurses and other hospital staff to voice and act properly in the event of a fire alarm (or real fire). You essentially had to pick any real problem and submit it for approval. I'm fortunate that they approved something I have to fix at work anyways.
