I'd been looking at this on a whim when this was first announced a few weeks ago since Argosy is owned by EDMC (the parent company that owns one of the schools at which I teach) and at this time it is not eligible to use Federal Financial aid. This will likely change in the future, but how long it will take to get it approved is unknown. This may impact people looking into the program, along with the fact that it's running around $3.5k for each 4 month semester, which is about double what Patten charges and more than WGU at $3250 (plus fees) for 6months. I'm not sure Argosy's name carries the weight to make the increased cost more appetizing than WGU or Patten. But I do applaud that they're taking the steps to move into the competency-based market. And if I end up going full-time at my school, EDMC pays tuition for programs offered by their umbrella of schools, so I may end up giving it a go while they foot the bill, depending on what other projects (degrees) I'm working on at the time.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
