You're letting fear get in the way. I'm assuming you don't want to go on to an MBA program if you're going to find a way around college algebra and statistics. You probably won't be going on to any other masters program that requires statistics or any quantitative skills. Another thing you have to consider is that COSC is very strict about which courses it will count as UL. You would have to check to see if ACE counts the Penn Foster courses as UL or LL. You will also need UL credits outside of the major. If you don't have anywhere near 30 UL credits, you will be putting yourself far back. Plus, you will have to complete the cornerstone and capstone in two separate semesters. Have you tried going through Khan Academy videos? Learner.org also has video series for statistics and algebra. However, the best video course I've seen is offered by The Great Courses.
