You may also want to search bookkeeping which provides many of the foundations needed for Accounting. My old laptop died so I don't have any links I can send you to yet but once I resurrect it and harvest some of the info on it I'll send you a few links. Make sure that you only use American Accounting training when it comes to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement since they are done differently in the rest of the world although we might end up switching to the rest of the worlds standard. The other issue with accounting as a profession is the long long hours that can be required to make decent income. I spent the afternoon working today to catch up for Wednesday afternoons meeting.
